Roles & Responsibilities

As a Bell Attendant at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving or departing the hotel. You will provide courteous, efficient, and professional assistance with luggage, guest requests, and guidance throughout the property, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the bold, playful, and stylish SO/ brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and escorting to rooms when needed.
  • Ensure luggage is handled safely and delivered accurately to guest rooms.
  • Assist guests with directions, transportation arrangements, and information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the bell desk, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, special needs, or concerns and escalate to the Bell Captain or Front Office team as required.
  • Monitor and maintain security of guest belongings during handling and storage.
  • Support the Bell Captain in coordinating team activities and ensuring smooth guest services.
  • Assist with valet, porter, or transportation services as required by guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and promotions to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as SO/ brand service guidelines.
  • Handle lost and found items responsibly and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Uphold professional appearance, grooming standards, and SO/ brand values at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience in guest services, bell, or porter roles in luxury hotels or resorts is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Physical ability to handle luggage and perform tasks that require mobility and stamina.

Knowledge of hotel layout, facilities, and local attractions is an advantage.

Professional appearance and alignment with SO/ brand standards.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
