Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Machine Set-up: Selecting, installing, and aligning punches and dies (tooling) for specific jobs.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate bend allowances
  • Operation & Programming: Inputting data (angles, length, pressure) into CNC controllers to form parts accurately.and proficiency with CNC press brake controls and metalworking principles.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces using calipers or protractors to verify conformity to the drawing.
  • Material Handling: Handling and positioning raw materials, often requiring overhead cranes for heavy plates.
  • Drawing Knowledge -Understanding technical drawings and how to read critical drawings for bending the plate.
