Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the Beverage program of Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, from operation, Audits and product array / selection
Interacting and engaging with guests and collecting feedback is part of the role. Cross departmental exposure across different operational environment will be required as part of the department head role
i>Beverage Program Management:
Develop and implement innovative beverage programs that reflect current trends, guest preferences, and the resort's luxury standards.
Curate and manage a diverse wine list, cocktail menu, and non-alcoholic options that enhance the resort's dining and leisure experiences.
Oversee seasonal updates to beverage offerings and ensure consistent quality and creativity.
i>Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of beverage managers, bartenders, sommeliers, and support staff.
Create an engaging and educational environment, offering training on product knowledge, customer service, and drink preparation.
Foster teamwork and promote a positive, high-energy atmosphere that motivates staff to provide outstanding service.
i>Guest Experience:
Maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring all beverage-related experiences meet the resort's exceptional standards of quality and luxury.
Engage with guests to personalize their beverage experiences, recommend specialty drinks, and handle any feedback or concerns promptly.
i>Operational Oversight:
Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient cost control and minimize waste.
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of bars, beverage storage areas, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations related to alcohol service.
i>Collaboration & Innovation:
Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and other resort departments to integrate beverages seamlessly into dining experiences.
Stay up to date with industry trends, and implement innovative beverage concepts to keep the resort's offerings fresh and exciting.
Plan and executespecial events, tastings, and promotions to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
i>Budget & Financial Management:
Develop and manage the beverage department's budget, ensuring profitability whiles maintainings quality and guest satisfaction.
Monitor key performance metrics such as beverage cost percentage, labor costs, and revenue targets to ensure financial objectives are met
Desired Candidate Profile
span>Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred/span>
span>Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a passion for creating unique guest experiences./span>
span>Strong leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative approach./span>
span>Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management abilities./span>
span>Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue./span>
span>Expertisespan> in mixology, wine pairings, and beverage trends./span> /span>
span>A dynamic, guest-centric personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and service excellence./span>
span>Fluency in English and Russianspan> /span>required;span> /span>additionalspan> language skills are a plus/span> /span>
span>Certification as a Sommelier or Mixologist is a plus./span>
