Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain reliability for data pipelines and report refreshes, ensuring high uptime and data quality.
  • Deliver validated ad-hoc data extracts and automated reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Manage and resolve operational tickets via ServiceNow and Azure DevOps within SLA timelines.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders through timely updates, incident summaries, and reports.
  • Enforce least-privilege access to data assets, maintaining audit trails and supporting access reviews.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and document solutions in the Known Error Database.
  • Safeguard production changes by performing checks, smoke tests, and rollback planning.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, planning, documentation, and efficient delivery of BI projects.
  • Maintain SOPs for monitoring, incident handling, and access workflows, and keep knowledge bases updated.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience in BI support or analytics engineering support in SLA-driven environments.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (report building, data modeling, DAX, RLS, gateways, usage/capacity monitoring).
  • Proficiency in SQL (diagnostics, tuning, complex queries, large datasets).
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
  • Cloud certifications or Power BI/SQL/Databricks/Azure certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English with cultural awareness for stakeholder engagement.
  • High attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.
