Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for researching key bid components, liaising with vendors, and negotiating favorable terms to ensure our proposals remain competitive and profitable. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical and commercial risk assessment, ensuring all submissions comply with local regulations while staying within budget and strictly meeting deadlines.

  • Opportunity Management: Identify and review bid opportunities to ensure

alignment with company criteria and growth objectives

  • Strategy Development: Devise and establish effective bidding strategies to

showcase our services and attract premium clients.

  • Financial Estimation: Estimate project costs accurately based on contractor and

vendor bids and perform the company’s annual budgeting exercise.

  • Proposal Writing: Prepare, write, and compile comprehensive bid packages and

detailed proposals.

  • Process Monitoring: Oversee the entire bidding lifecycle to ensure adherence to

deadlines, budget limits, and local/state laws.

  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate technical and commercial risks associated

with each bid to protect company interests.

  • Negotiation & Liaison: Coordinate with procurement to negotiate with

vendors/contractors for favorable pricing; maintain strong relationships with all

stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members and

Sales/Operations to gather information and respond to client inquiries.

  • Market Intelligence: Research market trends and key industry points to ensure

bids remain innovative and up to date.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering,

Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 7 to 9+ years of proven experience as a Bid Manager or Bid Writer,

specifically within a Catering environment

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the catering and support services industry.

  • Legal Fluency: Familiarity with relevant Saudi Arabian local and state laws regarding

procurement and bidding

  • Technical Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication; expert-level research and

organizational skills.
