Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for industrial automation and control projects, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and finance, to develop compelling and competitive proposals.
  • Analyze client requirements, tender documents, and technical specifications to develop tailored bid strategies.
  • Prepare and review all bid documentation, including technical, commercial, and legal content, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive bid library and knowledge base to streamline future proposal development.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigation strategies for each bid opportunity.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required.
  • Track and report on bid progress, win/loss ratios, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all bids are aligned with company objectives, profitability targets, and strategic goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to enhance bid competitiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 7 years and up to 9 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or tender management within the industrial or engineering sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex bids for automation, control systems, or engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies, PLC systems, and control solutions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and risk assessment processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
