Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preparing the estimated and final bids for the project.
  • Reviewing provided BOQ, Drawings and Specifications for the new Project.
  • Make accurate study for technical specifications and ensure its compatibility with customer needs to submit suitable technical & commercial quotations.
  • Develop any alternative technical solutions to satisfy customer needs.
  • Responsible for making any requested technical or financial amendments on the submitted quotations.
  • Receiving and analyze quotations from Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors.
  • Prepare commercial evaluation for rates Quoted by Sub Contractors Vendors and suppliers.
  • Responding to Post-Tender Clarification from clients.
  • Attend clients meetings either pre-tender meeting or final meetings, when needed to
    be aware of the updates
  • Follow up with client & developer during bid evaluation stage.
  • Maintaining communications with current clients and establishing communications
    with new potential Clients.
  • Preparing comparisons to sub-contractors and suppliers (technical + finance) and selecting the category that will be provided in the tender.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree of civil engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Self-starter and result-driven character.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Very good skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Shop drawing
  • Good command of the English Language (Written and Spoken)
  • Time management and abiding by strict deadlines
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
