Responsibilities
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Manages billeting staff and lodging.
- Ensuring the highest quality of living-quarters maintenance, upkeep, customer service, and adherence to standards at multiple Life Support Areas (LSA).
- Primary POC between customer and Vectrus to determine customer s billeting needs and priorities.
- Communicates protocol to staff regarding customer lodging assignments, and resolves issues.
- Additional duties or projects may be assigned as required by leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License, is required
- Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in customer service, hotel/military housing management, housekeeping, or related experience and three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing assigned Billeting personnel.
- Working Conditions:
- The worker is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity
- The worker is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity
- The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level
- The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies
