Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Reviewing billing data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile billing statements with internal records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, accounts receivable and other finance team members to ensure timely invoice acceptance.
- Collaborate with project managers, accounts receivable and other finance team members to ensure timely collection receivables.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing and revenue recognition.
- Generate reports on billing activities and outstanding receivables for management review.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies in billing procedures.
- Support audit processes with necessary documentation and explanations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
It is essential you have a minimum of 3 years industry experience outside the profession.
Knowledge of billing regulations and compliance standards.
Experience working with financial software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, and Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to provide timely and accurate management reporting.
Have excellent Excel and modeling skills alongside experience in communicating with senior stakeholders.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
