Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Billing Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Supervising the billing team and ensuring proper daily workflow distribution.
- Ensuring accurate and timely issuance of invoices, credit notes, and related billing documents.
- Reviewing billing transactions to ensure compliance with internal procedures and company policies.
- Coordinating with other Departments to resolve billing discrepancies and operational issues.
- Monitoring pending invoices, blocked orders, pricing issues, returns, and billing adjustments.
- Ensuring proper filing, documentation, and traceability of all billing records.
- Supporting the month-end closing process by ensuring billing data is complete and accurate.
- Preparing reports related to billing activity, pending transactions, errors, and team performance.
- Identifying process gaps and recommending improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Coaching, guiding, and supporting billing team members in their daily tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in billing, accounting, credit, finance operations, or a similar function.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of invoicing, credit notes, returns, pricing, and financial documentation.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
