Job Description

This position is tailored for professionals with experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The BIM Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating BIM standards and procedures in architectural and engineering projects. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills to ensure efficient integration and management of BIM technology in project execution.

Responsibilities

  • BIM Management: Execute and monitor BIM execution plans, TIDP, MDS and other BIM documents across different teams and sub-consultants.
  • Model Development and Review: Update company project templates and families to suit project requirements and contribute to project delivery and modeling tasks.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to team members on BIM processes and tools. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and trends.
  • Quality Assurance/Coordination: Conduct visual checks on the federated BIM models and prepare viewpoints for the team to highlight the clashes and areas that require further coordination. Monitor the health of the BIM models through Model QAQC checklist.
  • File Handling: Control common data environment locally and on cloud. Prepare and issue federated BIM models.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in architecture or engineering.
  • A minimum 2 years experience in BIM coordination in multidisciplinary design teams
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo and other related tools. Rhino is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in ISO19650 series is a plus.
