Job Title: BIM Electrical Engineer
Location: Cairo, Egypt

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a talented BIM Electrical Engineer to join their electrical design team in Cairo, electrical designs and shop drawings using advanced tools, ensuring coordination with other disciplines and compliance with international codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design: Develop detailed designs and shop drawings for low-voltage and extra-low voltage systems (lighting, power, earthing, data, fire alarm, etc.).

2. BIM Expertise: Utilize Revit MEP and AutoCAD for precise design documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.

3. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure conflict-free integrated designs.

4. Documentation: Prepare technical documents, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ).

5. Revisions: Review and incorporate feedback from engineers or clients into drawings.

6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

2. Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and technical work.

3. Software Skills: Proficient in Revit MEP and AutoCAD; familiarity with Dialux, ETAP, and Excel is a plus.

4. BIM Knowledge: Strong understanding of the BIM process and project stages.

5. Language: Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

6. Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
