Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and Manage BIM Models: Create and maintain 3D models using BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Models: Integrate architectural, structural, MEP, and other discipline models to detect and resolve clashes, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Support Design and Construction Teams: Provide technical support and guidance on BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Implement BIM Standards: Develop, implement, and enforce BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality.
- Data Management: Organize and manage project data, ensuring accurate information exchange and maintaining model integrity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate collaboration between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients using BIM tools and processes.
- Quality Control: Conduct model audits, clash detection, and quality checks to identify and resolve issues early in the design and construction process.
- Documentation and Reporting: Generate construction documents, schedules, quantity take-offs, and reports from BIM models.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- All Governmental Universities, American University in Cairo, British University in Cairo, German University in Cairo & Arab Academy for Science, Technology only.
- 0 3 years of experience in BIM or related roles.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks).
- Understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Familiarity with construction sequencing, methods, and project delivery.
- Skills in clash detection and coordination using BIM tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, etc.) and BIM execution plans.
- Understanding of data structures, file formats (IFC, COBie), and model interoperability.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Zayed or 6th October residents are preferred
