BIM Modeler Infrastructure -Cairo Aqleh Engineering Consultant

1. BIM Production & Modeling

Develop detailed 3D BIM models for infrastructure elements (roads, highways, utilities, bridges, grading, drainage, etc.).

Produce 2D drawings (plans, profiles, sections, details) derived from BIM models.

Maintain accurate model geometry, attributes, and metadata following project BIM standards.

Create clash-free, coordinated models for multidisciplinary teams.

2. Coordination & Collaboration

Work closely with civil engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure consistent design information.

Participate in coordination meetings to resolve modeling or design issues.

Upload, update, and manage models within a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM 360, ACC, or ProjectWise.

3. Standards & Documentation

Follow project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and industry guidelines (ISO 19650).

Ensure all BIM workflows meet QA/QC requirements.

Maintain modeling logs, versioning history, and documentation for deliverables.

4. Clash Detection & Quality Control

Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools, preparing clash reports and coordinating resolutions.

Run model audits to ensure accuracy, naming conventions, layers, and compliance with standards.

5. Quantity Extraction

Generate material take-offs and quantity schedules (earthwork volumes, pipe lengths, pavement layers).

Validate extracted quantities with engineering teams.
