Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The BIM Modeler – Mechanical creates and maintains high-quality Revit MEP models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan and LOD requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Revit MEP models for HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

  • Implement BIM models to the specified Level of Development (LOD) per project BEP.

  • Participate in multi-discipline clash detection exercises using Navisworks and coordinate resolutions.

  • Extract 2D drawings, schedules, and material quantities from Revit models.

  • Collaborate with Electrical and Civil BIM modelers for federated model coordination.

  • Maintain model integrity, naming conventions, and comply with ISO 19650 BIM standards.

  • Coordinate with on-site teams and engineers to incorporate design changes into the model.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

  • 5–9 years of MEP BIM experience with Tier 1 UAE contractor; 2–5 years on villa/building projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP (Mechanical) and Navisworks (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of BIM 360/ACC, ISO 19650, and CDE workflows.
