Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage BIM models for modular construction and prefabricated projects.

  • Prepare detailed 3D models, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordination drawings.

  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for clash-free models.

  • Ensure BIM standards, project specifications, and company procedures are followed.

  • Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar software.

  • Support DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) initiatives.

  • Coordinate with production and site teams for modular installation requirements.

  • Review design changes and update BIM models accordingly.

  • Generate quantity take-offs and reports from BIM models.

  • Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling and modular construction projects.

  • Strong experience in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.

  • Experience in modular, prefab, industrial, or large-scale construction projects preferred.

  • Knowledge of DfMA principles and modular manufacturing processes is an advantage.

  • Understanding of MEP, structural, and architectural coordination.
