BIM Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro, BIM 360/ACC) and related plug-ins.
  
• Install, configure, and maintain BIM software, workstations, and networked systems.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to software performance, model sharing, and collaboration tools.
  
• Support BIM users in resolving technical and file management problems within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  
• Coordinate with the IT team to manage software licensing, updates, and system backups.
  
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
  
• Provide training and user support for BIM tools, collaboration platforms, and IT procedures.
  
• Support data security, file storage, and server performance related to BIM operations.
  
• Participate in testing and implementation of new digital tools and technologies.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  
• 36 years of experience in IT support, with exposure to BIM environments preferred.
  
• Proficiency in Autodesk products and familiarity with network systems, servers, and CDE platforms (e.g., BIM 360, SharePoint, ProjectWise).
  
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Knowledge of Windows server administration, user access control, and data management.
  
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
  
• Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Dynamo) is a plus.
