Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install and align control valves, butterfly valves, and actuators as per mechanical layout drawings.
  • Support BMS engineers in actuator positioning, linkage, and signal calibration.
  • Ensure secure mounting and leak-free connections of valves into piping systems.
  • Assist in testing valve movement and actuator response during commissioning.
  • Read and interpret valve schedules, piping drawings, and datasheets.
  • Conduct mechanical preparation work including bracket fabrication and pipe cutting if required.
  • Maintain valve installation tools, equipment, and safety compliance on site.
  • Work closely with electrical and commissioning teams for coordinated system delivery.
  • Report installation progress and challenges to site supervisor or BMS engineer.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Technical diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electromechanical field.

· 2–5 years of experience in mechanical installation for BMS or HVAC systems.

· Hands-on experience with valve and actuator mounting (e.g., Belimo, Siemens, Johnson Controls).

· Ability to read mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and valve datasheets.

· Familiarity with piping standards, valve types, and actuator operations.

· Good coordination with electrical and control teams.

· Strong awareness of mechanical safety procedures and tool handling.
