Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities / accountabilities/strong>

  • Conducts and oversees VB-MAPP/ABLLS/AFLS assessments and writes assessment reports for clients under their care.
  • Develops behavior/treatment plans and oversees the implementation of plans to all clients under their care.
  • Conducts and/or oversees parent training for all clients under their care.
  • Helps maintain BACB requirements for BCaBA/RBT Supervision.
  • Ongoing supervision of clients under their care to assess progress.
  • Participates in parent meetings to discuss client progress and recommendations.

Minimum qualifications/strong>

  • Master s Degree from an accredited university in Special Education or any related field with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices.
  • Must be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Knowledgeable about current methods and techniques of ABA and has the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients and parents.
  • Must be well-trained in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment plans, behavioral programs and monitoring progress.

Competencies/strong>

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a high level of organization for file maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly record keeping.
  • Must be flexible in regards to caseload, travel and ability to help support clients when needed

Experience/strong>

  • At least 3 years of work experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD and their family
