Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Boat Captain who can also act as a Marine Specialist to join our team in Seychelle.

This is a unique opportunity to build a long-term role in the stunning Seychelles, starting with familiarization and onboarding in the UAE for a month.

Salary: Attractive salary based on experience.

Accommodation: Provided – Single Occupancy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently operate and navigate various types of small to medium size boats

· Comfortably ride few boats such as two 42-foot fishing boats (one with new technology), one 42-foot fishing boat and a traditional 3-room leisure yacht

· Coordinate with Marina/Harbor authorities on berth agreement and follow-up on payment requests

  • Fully understand the boats installation and systems, especially engines, AC, electric components, etc.
  • Organize and monitor assigned 3rd party maintenance companies
  • Conduct basic maintenance and repair work on engines, hulls, and systems
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep of boats and ensure availability of required equipment
  • Monitor and follow marine safety standards and best practices
  • Organize family rides and fishing trips during their visits
  • Escalate any maintenance requirement to the Marine Manager in the UAE

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills & Requirements:

  • Captain License is a must
  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar marine operations role
  • Sea and marine knowledge
  • Ability to operate boats confidently and safely
  • Basic Knowledge of fishing techniques
  • Experience in boat cleaning and basic mechanical/electrical repairs
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Diving certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
