Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the body and paint workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Supervise, train, and motivate workshop staff to achieve performance targets and maintain safety standards.
Coordinate with service advisors and customers to assess repair needs, provide accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor and manage inventory of paint, parts, and materials, ensuring timely procurement and cost control.
Implement and enforce workshop policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
Review and approve repair orders, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on complex body and paint repairs.
Track workshop performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among workshop staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a body and paint workshop management or supervisory role.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive body repair and painting processes, tools, and materials.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to workshop operations.
Ability to manage inventory and control workshop costs.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
Willingness to work on-site in a full-time, long-term position.
