Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out body repair works including dent removal, panel straightening, and surface correction
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, filling, cleaning, and masking
- Mix and apply primers, paints, and protective coatings as per specifications
- Operate spray guns, compressors, and painting tools safely
- Repair paint defects and ensure uniform finish and coating thickness
- Follow drying, curing, and finishing procedures
- Inspect completed work to meet quality standards
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and clean work areas
- Comply with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental standards
Skills & Competencies
- Body repair and surface preparation techniques
- Spray painting and coating application
- Knowledge of paints, thinners, and surface finishing materials
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Vocational training or practical experience in bodywork and painting
- Technical certification is an advantage
