Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Bookstore Accounts Manager plays a key role in managing and expanding Abwaab s presence across bookstores in Baghdad. The role focuses on driving sales for CT s subscription-based products, maintaining strong relationships with bookstore partners, and ensuring smooth operations across all sales points.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with bookstore partners to ensure effective promotion and sales of CT s subscription products.
- Oversee sales performance and operations across all assigned bookstores.
- Coordinate product availability, display, and inventory tracking with bookstore teams.
- Support bookstore staff with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Plan and execute marketing activations and promotional campaigns in coordination with internal teams.
- Collect and analyze sales data, feedback, and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular performance reports for the Head of CT.
- Identify and onboard new bookstore partners to expand CT s reach.
- Ensure all account-related documentation and settlements are accurately maintained.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or partnerships, preferably in the education, publishing, or FMCG sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or reporting tools.
- Fluency in Arabic (required); English is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with bookstores or retail distribution networks.
- Understanding of subscription-based or educational products.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities in a fast-paced environment.
