About the Role: We’re looking for a highly organized, experienced E-Commerce Project Manager with a strong background in Shopify and digital retail operations. This individual will take ownership of a major e-commerce project, overseeing all stages of development, execution, and optimization. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams — including design, development, marketing, logistics, and customer support — to deliver high-performing online shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all phases of a large-scale Shopify e-commerce project, from planning to launch and post-launch optimization. Coordinate and manage multiple teams — design, development, content, marketing, fulfillment, and customer service — ensuring alignment and timely delivery. Serve as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners. Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless site functionality, integrations, and custom features. Work with marketing teams to implement effective product launches, SEO strategies, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives. Analyze e-commerce performance data and recommend actionable insights to drive sales growth. Stay current with e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and emerging technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
3–5+ years of experience managing e-commerce projects, with a strong focus on Shopify (Shopify Plus experience a plus). Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices including UX/UI, site performance, digital marketing, and analytics. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira). Familiarity with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and basic HTML/CSS is preferred. Bonus Skills: Experience in omnichannel retail, subscription models, or DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brands. Background in managing agencies or freelancers. Data-driven mindset and comfort with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, GA4).
