Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Brand Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement short- and long-term brand strategies aligned with business objectives

Define brand positioning, target audience, and value proposition

Manage the brand P&L and ensure profitability targets are met

  1. Product Development & Innovation

Lead new product development (NPD) from concept to launch

Identify market gaps, consumer needs, and emerging trends in the beauty/cosmetics sector

Work closely with R&D and product development teams to ensure product quality and differentiation

  1. Marketing & Campaign Management

Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, retail, influencer, PR)

Oversee content creation, packaging, and brand communication consistency

Manage media planning and campaign performance tracking

  1. Market & Consumer Insights

Conduct market research and competitor analysis

Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and category trends

Use insights to refine brand strategy and product offerings

  1. Sales & Trade Marketing Support

Collaborate with sales teams to drive distribution and in-store visibility

Develop trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and merchandising strategies

Monitor product performance across channels (retail, e-commerce, modern trade)

  1. Budget & Performance Management

Manage marketing budgets effectively

Track KPIs such as market share, brand awareness, ROI, and sales growth

Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in brand management within the FMCG cosmetics industry, with a proven track record of success.

  • Experience in the cosmetics/beauty industry is a must; experience with a global brand is highly desired.

  • Strong understanding of the beauty and cosmetics market, including consumer behavior, trends, and competitive dynamics.
