Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify the key issues your brand is facing via:
- Analyze market needs from different sources (market studies, Customers via trade visits, sales, consumers, shoppers)
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry trends and monitor consumer target preferences, as well as brands positioning in the market, through market visits, consumer research, and retail audit analysis to understand drivers of growth or decline, what worked and what didn t, , competitive SWOT analysis, map out the risks and opportunities for the future,
and provide insights into future business plans and innovations, - track performance metrics for initiatives post launch and identify opportunities to adjust course as needed, based on what worked and what didn t and execute actions to adjust course
- Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
- understand shopper purchase barriers in store by channel and customer and understand the shopper profile for key customers (e.g. Carrefour) and channels (e.g KR, pharmacies, small groceries, detergent shops) to inspire in-store executions
And then put forward recommendations that tackle strategic questions to enhance profitability and grow market share - Submit suggestions & recommendations which help top management in decision making
- Evaluate proactively and consistently if executions are consistent, with Brand equity or not.
- Champion brand equity pyramid and brand architecture for current brands to establish right differentiation and consumer experience and accelerates competitive conversion
- Update equity pyramid with newly identified and relevant Point of Difference (PODs) benefits and/or innovative/Commercial Reason-to-believe (RTBs) that differentiate brand from competition
- Executes a consistent consumer and shopper experience in line with brand equities and brand architecture
- Ensures that brand is recognizable, up-to-date and exciting for consumers and customers.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in brand management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful brand strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinker with a passion for building and growing brands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
