Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

To handle all marketing and purchasing related activities pertaining to the designated brands


Key Accountabilities:

Carries out all the operational management related tasks of the brand

Handles the contacts with the product suppliers

Supervises the merchandise set-up in coordination with the Sales Manager and other product managers and ensures its optimal shelving.

Conducts regular field visits to the market to keep abreast with the latest market developments.

Conducts regular market visits to existing customers or potential ones to expand the customer data base and accordingly coordinate the necessary product related public relation events

Conducts the necessary feasibility studies prior to the introduction of new products. Conducts training sessions to merchandisers on promotional techniques and relay it to the Sales Manager for implementation.

Prepares regular quantitative reports regarding the performance of product lines

Undertakes any other assignment as per his direct superior s instructions

Follows up on the sales achievement and participates in decisions that are required to comply with the market demands and needs

Monitors and evaluates the performance of products and suggest proper corrective action in coordination with the Finance and Sales Departments

Follows-up on product related advertising and promotional activities

Follows-up on the stock ordering process in compliance with the annual sales forecast, in coordination with the Finance and Supply Chain departments.

Follows up on stock level related matters such as expiry dates, reordering etc

Participates in the process of developing a targeted company sales forecast.

Participate in developing a marketing strategy aimed at achieving targeted annual company business plan and sales forecast.

Suggests, plans and monitors product related promotional schemes and supervises their execution.

Suggests the introduction of new products that would enhance the sales of the company


Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in business administration, or marketing or related field.


Experience :

At least 3 years experience in a similar position


Skills and Knowledge:

Languages: Arabic, English and French

Computer: MS Office, ability to learn any other statistically applications
