Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, and lighting systems.
  • Lay cables and install trunking, conduits, DBs, SMDBs, and panels.
  • Perform wiring, termination, and connection works as per drawings.
  • Carry out insulation and continuity tests for all circuits.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.
  • Follow DEWA and Dubai Municipality electrical and safety standards.
  • Use proper PPE and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and other site teams.
  • Report daily progress and work completion to the supervisor.
  • Handle and store electrical materials and tools safely.
  • Install fire alarm, emergency lighting, and low-current systems when required.
  • Attend toolbox talks and follow site safety instructions.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Ensure all work is done as per approved drawings and project timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction.
  • Strong knowledge of DEWA standards and electrical safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and layouts.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights or confined spaces.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Indian nationality preferred.
