Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety standards, and progress

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines

Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples

Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical records

Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Identify potential risks or conflicts and propose effective solutions

Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management

Oversee quality control processes and implement corrective actions when necessary

Collaborate with the project team to optimize construction methods and improve efficiency

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field

Valid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE)

Minimum 12 years of experience in building engineering and site supervision, preferably on large-scale construction projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control processes

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Kuwait

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Strong technical report writing and communication abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead on-site personnel

Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
