About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Building Technician Wynn Oasis to join the resort s Wynn Oasis Engineering team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Conduct regular inspections of staff housing buildings to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in renovation and improvement projects for staff housing facilities.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in building maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
