Bund Manager - Pipavav Port

Construction Manager - Civil - (Breakwater, Bund and Groyne works)

Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering

Experience in proposed position: 10 years (5 years in the proposed position)


Job Description:

  • Draw the resources for the requirement as per the approved schedule for the assigned area/scope of work
  • Preparation of work methods for incorporation in PQP
  • Carry out the construction, erection & testing activities as per approved construction drawings and work methods with the required Quality & EHS- within the required time and cost
  • Implement the quality checks and retain documented information.
  • Proper utilisation of resources for desired productivity
  • Orientation of S/C workman on quality and EHS requirements.

Work Experience: (Bund/ Break Water Manager)

  • Worked as a construction manager in a breakwater project.
  • Experience in constructing breakwaters in both land and marine modes.
  • Possess knowledge of wave / tidal effects and plan work methodology accordingly.
  • Possess knowledge of quarry-related activities.
  • Handled the DGPS system for survey.
  • Ability to interpret bathymetry survey & topography survey.
  • Experience in handling marine projects using a jack-up barge.
