Business Analyst TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst based in Hyderabad with 2-7 years of experience to drive data-driven decision making and optimize business processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translate requirements into actionable insights, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to illustrate current and future state processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to ensure alignment Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations Support project management activities such as planning, tracking progress, and risk management Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates Required Qualifications: 2-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or related field Proficiency in SQL for data querying and strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience writing user stories Professional certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Scrum Master Familiarity with data modeling concepts and ER diagrams Exposure to programming languages like Python or R for data analysis Domain experience in finance, retail, or supply chain management
