About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst based in Kolkata, West Bengal to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, map processes, and translate insights into actionable deliverables. You will leverage your SQL and data analysis expertise to drive data-informed decision-making while operating in an Agile/Scrum environment. Responsibilities: Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders Develop and maintain clear documentation of functional and non-functional requirements Perform data analysis and extract insights using SQL queries Create and update process maps to visualize current and future state workflows Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations Support change management activities and stakeholder communications Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Proven expertise in requirement gathering and documentation Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis Hands-on experience in data analysis and interpretation Experience with process mapping and workflow modeling Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and macros Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA or Trello Exposure to domain-specific processes (e.g., finance, supply chain) Experience with data visualization best practices
