Business Analyst (BA)

Role Summary:

• Elicit, analyze, and translate complex business needs into precise, actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop key project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria in an Agile environment.
• Model business processes, define business rules, and create use cases and workflow diagrams to guide development teams.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact analysis to assess the implications of change and recommend optimal solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders at all levels to clarify requirements and build consensus.
• Act as a product owner proxy, prioritizing the backlog and validating delivered features against business requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in software/IT projects.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering techniques and documentation standards (BRD, FRD, user stories).
• Strong skills in process modeling, use case development, and gap/impact analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of software development concepts and data structures is a plus.
