Roles & Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across public and private construction sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to track upcoming projects, industry trends, and competitive activity.
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals, bids, and tender submissions in coordination with the tendering and engineering teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
  • Follow up on tender statuses, clarify client requirements, and ensure timely submission of all documentation.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive business pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and exhibitions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum *5 years of experience* in business development for construction companies.
  • Strong understanding of contracting processes, project lifecycles, and tendering procedures.
  • Demonstrated success in securing new projects and growing client accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience reviewing technical and commercial documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and tendering platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
