Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and industry partners.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and bids for construction projects.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
- Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating high levels of self-motivation and accountability.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic business development plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
