Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and propose to manager(s) on strategies to grow sales and increase market share for the assigned product categories based on market analysis, consumer trends and insights, and competitive activity.
Identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and new market segments to expand category sales.
Support the sales team in achieving sales targets by providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Work on expanding product distribution and increasing product visibility across the market.
Analyse market data, customer behaviour, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
Provide recommendations to the management to improve product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Prepare accurate reports on category performance, sales trends, market insights, and promotional effectiveness.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of category strategies.
Support internal teams in ensuring consistent product availability and efficient category operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2 - 4 years of experience in category management, sales coordination (Experience in
FMCG/ Cosmetics distribution is essential).
Strong command of English communication (written and verbal) is essential.
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
