Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profit margins.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote company services.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain business development.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation modes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Existing network of industry contacts and clients.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
