Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company s footprint in the construction sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value contracts and agreements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing new business and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of construction industry dynamics, market trends, and client needs.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience with contract management and proposal development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
