Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify new business opportunities and develop new growth channels.
  • Manage high value-added commercial proposals, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and contractual negotiations with potential clients.
  • Prospecting and acquiring new corporate clients through targeted networking activities, while ensuring the management and development of strong relationships with client companies and partner insurers.
  • Working closely with the underwriting, claims management and operations teams to ensure efficient and appropriate handling of customer needs.
  • To supervise, support and develop the business development team in order to ensure the achievement of KPIs and growth objectives.
  • Track, analyze and report key performance indicators as well as the progress of the sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management and executive committee level stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired profile

  • University degree, preferably a Master's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance or brokerage sector, ideally with exposure to the African market.
  • Mastery of French, English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
