Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities through market research and analysis to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of products or services.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor offerings that resonate with target audiences.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies to stay ahead in the marketplace.
- Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and forecasting revenue to ensure targets are met.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of business initiatives, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events, enhancing brand visibility and establishing connections.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is essential for a strong foundation.
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant industry is highly preferred.
- Certifications in sales or business development, such as Certified Business Development Expert (CBDE), are a plus.
- Experience in technology or software sales will be beneficial in understanding product nuances and client needs.
- Candidates with a history of exceeding sales targets and driving growth will stand out in the selection process.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as Spanish or Mandarin can be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions are crucial.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are required to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and resilient mindset, coupled with a strong ability to adapt to changing business landscapes, is essential.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, especially when dealing with international clients, will enhance relationship-building efforts.
