Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Strategy

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor tariff strategies within the commercial sector.

Analyze market penetration, customer segmentation, and total addressable market (TAM) to inform strategic decision-making.

Develop robust business cases and feasibility studies for potential projects and service offerings.

Develop and implement tailor-made marketing strategy for the business

Tariff Design & Financial Modeling

Design, develop, and implement innovative and value-driven tariff and pricing structures for commercial customers (e.g., volume-based, time-of-use, fixed-fee, etc.).

Perform financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to ensure tariffs are both profitable for the company and competitive in the market.

Collaborate with Finance and Operations to forecast revenue, assess cost implications, and monitor the financial performance of existing and new tariffs.

Sales & Business Development

Identify, prospect, and engage key commercial clients and partners to promote new services and secure contracts.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company strategy and profitability goals.

Serve as the subject matter expert on pricing and tariffs during client pitches and discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with related functions to ensure seamless implementation of new tariffs and business models.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market trends, financial performance, and proposed tariff changes for senior management.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

Expert Analytical Skills: Proven ability to collect, interpret, and model complex data sets, translating analysis into clear, actionable strategies.

Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, cost structures, margin analysis, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.

Pricing & Tariff Design: Specific, hands-on experience designing and implementing successful commercial tariffs or pricing models (e.g., in utilities, telecommunications, logistics, or similar subscription/service-based industries).

Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and link market dynamics to pricing decisions and long-term business objectives.

Professional Experience

Experience in business development, sales, financial analysis, or a related field within the commercial sector.

Demonstrable experience leading market analysis projects, competitor research, and pricing initiatives.

Proven track record of successfully closing large commercial contracts or driving significant revenue growth.

Understanding of marketing basics

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.

Knowledge of financial modeling, data science, or professional sales.

Mastery of spreadsheet package such as MS Excel

Strong skills in report drafting
