Due to continued growth the British Academy School Marrakech (BASM) is seeking is an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Secondary Business Teacher with the potential to offer a second subject such as English or Mathematics to join our dedicated team of educators in December 2025. Experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and able to offer a additional subject will be an advantage. Start date as soon as possible.

The School

BASM is a BSO accredited, privately-funded primary and secondary school, located in Marrakech, Morocco. The overarching vision of BASM is to bring the best of British education to Morocco. The Role

We are looking for well qualified teachers ideally with international experience, or experience of teaching the England & Wales National Curriculum. The ability to inspire students and create a stimulating learning environment is essential. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues.

Teachers at BASM have excellent subject knowledge and are expected to work collaboratively, to reflect on their own practice and to contribute to the ethos and vision of the school. In addition to key teaching responsibilities, staff have a pastoral role, giving them the opportunity to foster students holistic development and to play an integral part in the school community. With the exception of French and Arabic, all teaching within the school is undertaken in English, therefore language competence will be assessed as part of the application process. All applicants must have a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
