Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Department Definition:
The department aims to provide high quality teaching and learning support to their students to develop industry related skills and competencies.Conduct sound competency based assessment within the business related discipline.Provide administrative, promotional and other support to ensure the effective functioning of the Business department.
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Model and support a learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.
- Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes for Business studies.
- Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will study Business in English.
- Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.
- Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.
- Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.
- Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.
- Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements for Expatriates:
Education: Bachelor s degree in relevant (Business Studies; Commerce) related subjects is essential.
Minimum 3-year degree
Experience (no certification): 3+ years of full-time teaching experience in schools for expats
Experience (with certification): 2+ years full- time teaching experience in schools if the candidate possesses one of the following:
Accepted Certification: Ministry of Education teaching License, B.Ed; M.Ed; NTS;PGCE (QTS not required); PGDE; H.D.E; H.E.D; DELTA (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training); CELTA (Masters level only); TESOL (Masters level only)
English proficiency requirement: Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Language proficiency test required or an equivalent to it. Expats score of 94-109 required)
Up to 55 years old
The candidate is required to obtain a Teacher s License within the first two years from the date of joining
Requirements for Emirati Nationals:
Education: Bachelor s degree in relevant (Business Studies; Commerce) related subjects is essential.
Minimum 3-year degree
Experience: No previous teaching experience required.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 for Emirati candidates.
English proficiency requirement: Excellent level of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT Certificate or equivalent to it) should be provided within six months of joining the MOE. score of 79-93 required).
The candidate is required to obtain a Teacher s License within the first two years from the date of joining
