Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Buyer, Food Industry
- Identify the needs of the production, quality and logistics departments.
- Select, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers.
- Launch consultations and calls for tenders.
- Negotiating prices, deadlines, payment terms and contracts.
- Place orders and track deliveries.
- Check the conformity of purchases (quality, quantity, traceability).
- Managing supplier disputes.
- Update the supplier database.
- Participate in cost optimization and securing supplies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, management or agri-food.
- 25 years of experience. Desired experience in an industrial or agri-food environment.
