Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, ensuring the best quality and pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and delivery terms that align with company objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels by forecasting demand and collaborating with inventory management teams to avoid stockouts or excess stock.
  • Analyze supplier performance through key metrics and reports to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a relevant industry, demonstrating a track record of successful negotiations.
  • Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a specific industry, such as retail, manufacturing, or technology, to bring relevant knowledge to the role.
