Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement buying strategies that align with brand and organizational goals.
* Plan and manage seasonal product assortments to ensure balance between style, price, and customer preference.
* Monitor Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets and control spending by store and category.
* Analyze in-season performance and adjust strategies to optimize sales and margins.
* Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
* Partner with Planning, Logistics, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure effective stock flow and brand consistency.
* Leverage customer feedback, sales analytics, and market research to inform buying decisions.
* Support training sessions for store teams on new collections, trends, and product highlights.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 4 years of experience in a buying or merchandising position within fashion retail.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to interpret fashion trends and align product ranges with market expectations.
* Collaborative team player with initiative and a customer-first approach.
* Adaptable and motivated to innovate within a fast-paced retail environment.
