Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute calibration procedures for complex measurement systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve calibration issues, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations like ISO 9001 and ISO
- Perform calibrations using a variety of instruments and equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators.
- Analyze calibration data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in measurement processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a strong foundation is crucial.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or equivalent; demonstrates commitment to the field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in calibration within the automotive or aerospace industry; practical expertise is essential.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using calibration software and equipment from Fluke, Agilent, or similar; technical prowess is expected.
- Exhibits strong knowledge of metrology principles, including uncertainty analysis, traceability, and measurement standards; understanding is key.
