Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics (engineering degree preferred) with 10–15 years of hands-on experience in calibration or inspection within an ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO/IEC 17020 accredited environment. He should be fully competent in electrical, pressure, temperature, and dimensional calibration, able to work independently in both laboratory and on-site environments, and proficient in using master instruments such as multimeter calibrators, pressure calibrators, dry block/furnace systems, and dimensional tools. The candidate must have solid understanding of measurement uncertainty, traceability, PT/ILC participation, and calibration documentation, including preparing accurate reports and following SOPs. Strong communication skills, leadership ability to guide junior technicians, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and client-handling experience are essential. The candidate must comply with HSE requirements, preferably holding First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, H2S, or Work-at-Height certificates, and must possess a valid Iqama with correct technical profession and eligibility for Saudi Council of Engineers registration. Willingness to travel and perform on-site calibration at client premises is required.
