Record Control: Manage and archive all calibration records, data sheets, and certificates, ensuring the integrity and easy retrieval of documentation in both physical and digital systems.
Audit Preparation: Lead the preparation and execution of internal and external audits (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) by organizing documentation, demonstrating traceability, and presenting objective evidence.
Metrology and Data Integrity:
Traceability Assurance: Maintain rigorous control over the traceability of all working and reference standards to national/international metrology institutes (e.g., NIST, NPL).
Calibration Reporting: Ensure all generated calibration reports and certificates are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Equipment and System Maintenance:
Recall and Scheduling: Manage the laboratory's instrument to schedule, track, and recall all internal and external calibration equipment on time.
Standard Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance engineer to keep calibration instrument running efficiently and accurately.
Environmental Monitoring: Oversee the continuous monitoring and documentation of the lab's environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, vibration) to ensure compliance with procedure requirements.
Quality Compliance and Improvement:
ISO/IEC 17025 QMS: Act as the primary document controller and subject matter expert for the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System (QMS).
Non-conformance/CAPA: Initiate and follow through on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) related to calibration discrepancies, audit findings, or documentation errors.
Calibration Operations (Customer Equipment):
Execute Calibrations: Perform precise and accurate calibrations, adjustments, and minor repairs on a wide variety of customer instrumentation covering all specified parameters (temperature, humidity, viscosity, and gas analysis).
Adherence to SOPs: Strictly follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain measurement conditions required for the specific calibration method.
Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record "as-found" and "as-left" data, calculate results, and generate formal calibration certificates and reports for all customer equipment.
